Carl’s journey began in primary healthcare 42 years ago, first in the NHS and then as a chiropractor. He is a graduate of the AECC and has practised SOT for 35 years in north west London. Carl served as SOTO Europe Vice President some years ago and returned to the board last year, after a break, during which he followed his interest in neuroscience, studied for and became a Craniopath. When you meet him, you’ll find his enthusiasm and passion for SOT inspiring and infectious. Outside of professional life, Carl is married to Danine and has three grown-up children. In his free time, you’ll most likely find him deep in mud, whether gardening or participating in trail running and obstacle course racing.

I graduated from AECC in 1982 and attended my first SOTO Europe seminar in 1987. I've been part of the team ever since. My first term on the board was as Treasurer in the late '90s. In 2017, I returned as Vice President but had to step down due to family issues. I've recently stepped back into this role to help the board continue developing the teaching of SOT into the next decade. I still work full-time in my practice in Peterborough, helping patients of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dogs, especially on the beaches of Norfolk.

Eunjoo qualified with a Master of Chiropractic degree from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2012. She obtained her advanced certification in SOT in 2020 and achieved Craniopath certification in 2022. Eunjoo has served as Treasurer of SOTO Europe since 2023 and practices in Ascot and Wokingham.

Lowena became a chiropractor in 2005 and quickly developed a strong interest in Sacral Occipital Technique. Through her 18 years practising SOT, she has gained certifications in both Foundation and Advanced SOT exams and currently has her sights on Craniopath exams later this year.
Sport, particularly rugby and skiing, is her passion. Prior to studying chiropractic, she earned a degree in Sport Science. Lowena practices in Sandbach, Cheshire, where she has enjoyed establishing her own practice. When away from chiropractic, Lowena will be out in the hills or mountains biking or hiking.

Sylvie is originally from The Netherlands and has lived in Germany and Malta, but is now happily settled in the UK. With a keen interest (and a PhD) in Biology, Sylvie was first introduced to chiropractic when her young son began receiving care from an amazing SOT Craniopath. This inspired her to change careers, and five years later, Sylvie graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic (2020), where she received the Principles Prize and the Bronnie Herbertson Award for Philosophy, Research, and Clinical Excellence. Since graduating, Sylvie has developed a passion for SOT and is currently certified to Proficiency level. When not in clinic, Sylvie enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
She relishes supporting her children from the sidelines of wet and windy rugby pitches (why didn’t they choose indoor basketball instead?!). Sylvie loves scuba diving, travelling, learning new languages, and going to the gym with her friends!

My name is Thibert Charron. I’m 37 years old and work in the southeast of France with my wife, who is also a chiropractor. We opened our practice 11 years ago between the Mediterranean Sea and the red rocks of the Esterel, where we enjoy sailing and hiking. SOT is one of our core adjusting techniques, and I’m glad to support the board in furthering SOT education across Europe.

Krishna graduated in 2008 and was quickly drawn to SOT because of its gentle and holistic approach. Throughout her career, SOT has remained the focal point of her practice. Over the years, she has revisited the foundation modules multiple times, gaining deeper insights each time. In 2023, she successfully completed her Proficiency Certification exam and is currently preparing for her Advanced exam.

Ricardo's career journey is somewhat unusual. Initially graduating as an engineer, he worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry in Aberdeen. Driven by a desire to provide more tangible help to others, Ricardo transitioned into chiropractic, graduating with distinction from the WIOK in 2010, earning his second Master's degree.
Passionate about continuous learning, Ricardo has a keen interest in neck/TMJ-related headaches, as well as pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain.
Ricardo's introduction to SOT was quite accidental, sparked by a colleague's casual recommendation. His journey with SOT began just over two years ago, in January 2023. By the end of his first SOT seminar, Ricardo knew this was his path, as it provided answers he had long sought.
He has since achieved proficiency and advanced certification and is currently working towards becoming a Craniopath.
Outside of his London practices, Ricardo enjoys running, open-water swimming, painting, horse riding, playing guitar and attending live music performances.

Mark graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1993. He began his career in Perth, Australia, and was inspired to learn more about SOT after attending a lecture by Jon Howat. Later, Mark had the opportunity to work with Jon in Oxford, which profoundly influenced his understanding of how powerful chiropractic and SOT can be in changing people's lives.
Mark is excited to serve on the board and to deepen his knowledge of SOT and Cranio Fascial Dynamics. He currently practices in Leeds.
