Thank you for booking onto a SOTO Europe seminar. Below is all you need to know for your seminar weekend and how to download your CPD certificate and invoice. However, if you are still unsure about anything, please do not hesitate to contact Teresa on conferences@sotoeurope.org.

The bedroom booking link is available online on the relevant seminar page. This is a delegate rate and includes parking and wi-fi throughout the hotel. This offer is usually available until 4 weeks before the seminar, so if you are booking last minute, please contact the hotel directly for the best price.
If you would like ‘no frills’ cheaper accommodation, there is a Travelodge just across the road from the seminar hotel.
The timetables for the seminar months are below. Please come to the registration table (in the foyer of the Buckingham Suites) to sign in for the weekend, pick up your badge and notes. You would have ticked the waiver box when you registered for the seminar online, however, if you have any concerns regarding the practical elements of the course, please see a lecturer or table instructor at any point during the weekend.
If you have driven but are not staying overnight, you will need to register your car number plate with reception to avoid parking fines, or leave the details with myself or Tracy and we will do it for you.
January - Please note that for January, there is always an introduction in the module 1 seminar room. All delegates will be expected to attend (unless notified otherwise beforehand). It is always a great start to the seminar year!

Depending on the size of the group, the room layout will either be theatre style (no tables) or classroom style (with tables). Usually modules 1 and 2 are the largest seminar groups, so if you are booked into these, there will be no tables for you to rest your notes on as we need additional space for practical work. Notes are wire bound and have a card cover and back, so will be sturdy enough to write any notes in. Water and glasses will still be available at the side of the seminar room.
Practical workshops are an integral part of these seminars and although we do supply a couple of benches, more is always better! So if you do have a portable bench, it would be so helpful if you could bring it with you to maximise the practical elements of the course. Plus, as a thank you for lugging it to the seminars and home again, we will give you a £10 off voucher towards any book or piece of equipment, valid towards purchases made during that weekend only. This voucher will be given to you during registration upon proof of your portable bench (or signs of strain or sweat of course!).
Books and equipment are available to purchase during the seminar weekends. If you would like something specific, you will be able to buy this on the website and then when you get to the shipping section, choose ‘collection at a UK seminar’. Tracy, our sales administrator, will then bring your order with her and it is guaranteed for you. We do try to bring as much as possible each weekend but please use the online order option to avoid disappointment. Any questions regarding this, please email Tracy on sales@sotoeurope.org.
Sales of all equipment and books will be available from the first break on Saturday until the end of the first break on Sunday morning only.
I am aware that many of you are either gluten free, vegetarian, diary free, vegan or a mix of two or more. The hotel has been fully briefed on this, so please rest assured the food provided should have something for everyone. Please email Teresa on conferences@sotoeurope.org if you have a specific dietary requirement or if you have any questions about the food over the weekend, she will be happy to help.
Your certificate and invoices for every seminar you book are stored on your online SOTO Europe account. To access these, go to ‘My Events’ which is located in the ‘Members’ tab along the top of the page.
Here you will see a list of the seminars you have booked. It will look like this:
On the left hand side is a link to download your invoice. On the right, you will need to click the ‘submit event review’ button before you can download you certificate. Please leave a review of the seminar you have attended and once done, you can email conferences@sotoeurope.org to confirm if you need this urgently. I need to verify the review before the certificate is released for download. Otherwise, I regularly check for reviews and confirm them if they are filled in.
Once this process is complete, you will be able to download your certificate by pressing the relevant button.
